Agreement

By installing and using Arc+ Order Editing & Upsell ("the App"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use our app.

What Our App Does

Arc+ Order Editing & Upsell is a Shopify app that:

  • Allows your customers to edit their orders after purchase

  • Shows upsell recommendations during checkout and on order pages

  • Helps you manage order modifications and increase revenue

  • Integrates with your Shopify store through Shopify's API

Important: Our app uses Shopify's backend infrastructure. All order processing, payment handling, data storage, and core e-commerce operations are managed by Shopify's platform, not by us directly.

How Our Technology Works

What We Provide:

  • User interface for order editing and upsell features

  • App configuration and settings management

  • Customer-facing editing screens and upsell displays

What Shopify Handles:

  • All backend order processing and modifications

  • Payment processing and refund calculations

  • Data storage and security infrastructure

  • Order fulfillment system integration

  • Core e-commerce platform operations

This means: We build the features you see and use, but Shopify's proven systems handle all the critical backend operations. This ensures reliability and security while giving you powerful new capabilities.

Your Responsibilities

As a merchant using our app, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information when setting up the app

  • Use the app only for legitimate business purposes

  • Comply with all applicable laws and Shopify's terms

  • Not attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or misuse the app

  • Keep your Shopify store and app settings secure

Our Responsibilities

We will:

  • Provide the app features as described

  • Keep your data secure and private

  • Provide reasonable customer support

  • Give you advance notice of any major changes to the app

Service Availability

  • We aim to keep the app running 24/7, but can't guarantee 100% uptime

  • We may need to take the app offline for maintenance or updates

  • We'll try to give advance notice of planned downtime

  • We're not responsible for issues caused by Shopify, your internet connection, or third parties

Pricing and Billing

  • Pricing is shown on our website and in the Shopify App Store

  • You'll be billed through Shopify's billing system

  • Prices may change with 30 days notice

  • No refunds for partial months, but you can cancel anytime

  • Free trial terms are as stated when you install the app

Order Editing Features

When using our order editing features:

  • Customers can only edit orders according to your settings

  • You control time limits and what can be edited

  • All order processing, payments, and refunds are handled by Shopify's backend systems

  • We provide the user interface - Shopify processes all the actual order changes

  • You're responsible for fulfilling modified orders correctly

  • We're not responsible for customer disputes about edited orders

  • Any payment processing issues are handled by Shopify, not us

Upsell Features

When using our upsell features:

  • You choose which products to promote and when

  • All sales transactions go through Shopify's secure checkout and payment systems

  • We display the offers - Shopify processes the actual purchases

  • You're responsible for fulfilling any additional orders

  • We don't guarantee any specific increase in sales

  • Payment processing and order creation for upsells are handled by Shopify's backend

Limitations

Our app provides a user interface for Shopify's backend systems. We can't be responsible for everything, especially things handled by Shopify's infrastructure.

We're not liable for:

  • Lost sales or profits

  • Payment processing errors (handled by Shopify)

  • Order processing failures (handled by Shopify's backend)

  • Data loss or corruption (stored on Shopify's systems)

  • Customer disputes

  • Damage to your business reputation

  • Issues caused by other apps or services

  • Problems with Shopify's platform or infrastructure

  • Backend technical issues beyond our interface

Important: Since we use Shopify's backend infrastructure, many technical operations are Shopify's responsibility, not ours. Our app provides the interface and features - Shopify handles the core processing.

Maximum liability: If we are found liable for anything, our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the last 12 months.

Cancellation

You can cancel anytime by:

  • Uninstalling the app from your Shopify admin

  • Contacting us at support@arcapps.io

We may cancel your service if:

  • You violate these terms

  • You don't pay your bills

  • Your use of the app causes problems for other users

  • We're required to by law

When service ends:

  • You'll still be billed for any usage through the end of your billing period

  • We'll delete your data as described in our Privacy Policy

  • Any outstanding issues will be resolved according to these terms

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll notify you of major changes by:

  • Email to your registered address

  • Notice in the app

  • Posting updates on our website

Continued use of the app means you accept the new terms.

Intellectual Property

  • We own the Arc+ app and all its features

  • You own your store data and content

  • You can use our app according to these terms

  • You can't copy, modify, or redistribute our app
