Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how ARC+ Order Editing & Upsell (“the App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) handles customer data accessed through your Shopify store. We are committed to protecting the privacy and security of your customers’ personal information while providing you with order edit and address update functionality.

Data Collection and Use

• The App does not store or retain customer order details or shipping addresses in its database.

• Upon merchant installation and configuration, the App enables an order status UI extension that allows your customers to edit their orders and update shipping information.

• For the purpose of enabling these features, the App retrieves customer orders and addresses in real time solely to facilitate the customer’s requested edits.

• All sensitive data (order and address information) is securely transmitted via HTTPS from your store’s front end to our backend and directly to the Shopify API. At no point is this data stored by the App.

Logging and Data Retention

• The App only stores logs related to order editing activity (such as order IDs impacted, line items changed, and the number of address updates made). These logs do not include customer names, addresses, or directly identifying information.

• All logs are stored solely for technical troubleshooting, compliance, and to provide merchants with a record of order changes.

• Logs will be deleted when a merchant uninstalls the App or upon receiving an explicit deletion request from the merchant.

Data Access and Security

• Access to order editing logs is restricted to authorized merchant staff and App administrators, solely for the purposes described above.

• All data transmission between your store and Shopify is encrypted using HTTPS.

• The App periodically audits its systems to ensure no sensitive customer data is being stored.

Data Subject Requests

• Since the App does not store customer personal data, requests to access, rectify, or delete such data related to customers can be addressed via the Shopify platform.

• Merchants may request deletion of their log data at any time by contacting Contact Info.

Policy Updates

• We reserve the right to amend this Privacy Policy at any time. Merchants will be notified of any material changes.
